Acne Treatment

Medical acne management combining prescription therapy, in-clinic procedures and a maintenance routine built for your skin type.

What it treats

  • Active acne and pimples
  • Hormonal and adult acne
  • Blackheads and whiteheads
  • Oily, congested skin

How the treatment works

Your consultation starts with grading the acne and identifying triggers — hormones, products, diet or occupation. Treatment usually pairs topical and oral medication with in-clinic sessions such as comedone extraction, salicylic or mandelic peels, and where needed light or laser therapy.

Sessions

Most patients see clear improvement within 6–12 weeks; peels are usually spaced 3–4 weeks apart.

Downtime

Minimal. Mild dryness or peeling in the first weeks is expected and settles quickly.

Common questions

Will the acne come back after treatment?

Acne is a chronic condition, so we plan a maintenance routine once your skin clears to keep relapses under control.

Do I need medication or only procedures?

It depends on the grade and type of acne. Dr. Nikhil recommends the least aggressive plan that will actually work for your skin.
